Surrender..... have you ever been told what it means to totally surrender?

It is for our own good, but the Holy Spirit has to help us get there! God is patient and will work with us to perform what is His perfect plan.

Hypocrites. Blind Guides.

You strain your water so you won’t accidently swallow a gnat, but you swallow a camel;

What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law-Pharisees, Hypocrites.

For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are filthy full of greed and self-indulgence.  Blind Pharisees!

First wash the inside of the cup and dish, then the outside will become clean too.

The context of this messages is to the Pharisees and Legalistic people.   To apply this to us TODAY in a way to be better Christ Followers– we have paraphrased it.  To those of us that get caught up (without realizing it most of the time) in wearing our masks.

The devil has been lying to us, blinding, tricking, and tempting us since day One!

We have been guilty of “idolizing” things unawares to us!

Hypocrites: Mask wearers

Blind Guides: Satan, media, FB, TV, Magazines, Actors, etc.

You strain: We cover up with outside appearances, activities, things, people, places, fulfillment and temporary “fixes”.

Swallow: We swallow Satan's lies

Sorrow: This is what is at the end of the “beautiful lies”. Satan waits at the door for us to sin, and there will be consequences. Sin brings death. Which in real life speaking-loneliness, darkness, depression, food eating disorders, panic attacks, loathing, self condemnations…….

Clean the inside: Turn your life, sorrow, pain, sin to God –the process of cleansing is freeing! Jesus, Salvation, washing your soul with the WORD!

Greed-Self Indulgence: Sorrow, pain; total opposite walk from what we are called to do, which is deny ourselves “daily”   (alllllll day long) Follow Jesus correction, obedience=blessings, life, hope, joy and all the gifts the Holy Spirit has to offer us.

Wash the inside: you will “become” (ongoing, daily process-no magic quick fixes-endurance and determination needed) trust God everyday, spend time with him, make new habits and time to get to know him. 

Set aside time to read/study the word, talk to him, then do your best to sit still and wait for him to talk to you. He will do it through His Word: words, sentences,  paragraphs; look for the “light bulbs” to come on inside your heart. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and you renew your mind by putting the good things inside.

Watch what you watch. Listen to what you are listening to. Be on guard, for your enemy, Satan prowls around like a roaring lion! I always see him as being toothless… He cant hurt me!  Praise Jesus. Thank for your WORD!!!  bfc

There is HOPE and it is birthed in our personal relationship with Jesus! Seek ye first the kingdom of God .... and .... these other healings and hopefilled days will follow.....

Testing, Testing, Testing..1,2,3,4,5,6,7,......

Does anyone like tests???? NO!!

We have a few articles from several resources  - compiled together for encouragement on why God tests us, and how we can come out victorious through them!

We pray the Holy Spirit will speak to you through these messages and also ask Him to guide, strengthen, encourage, heal and give you a hunger and thirsting for His Word like you have never known. This is where it all begins!

Listen to the Heartbeat

In my quiet time this morning, this thought came to my mind. Not sure what to do with it, so I started research on the word "listening" and thought this would be a good subject to research and camp on for a season ALONG with the TESTING Word.
