When I started this journey on anxiety, I had not found this resource and I am so glad God led me to this teaching and author. The name of the book is: Managing Leadership Anxiety "Yours and Theirs"

Don't let the title throw you..... with the word "leadership". When I started learning from him, leadership was not even the issue, it was just my personal walk and spiritual growth process. We can all benefit from his teaching. I pray you will be blessed and find this resource helpful for you.

• In prayer this morning, as most of us, not really knowing how or what to pray in this heavy season in Texas. God hears our prayers and we can all agree in one accord for hope, peace, and healing. • Prayer: Father we come to you in Jesus’ name with hurting and heavy hearts and asking you to instill your word in our heart, Philippians 4:6-7. We cannot DO what it says without your strength. Come Holy Spirit, fresh healing waters each day. Thank you for hearting us even when we do not feel you, you are carrying us. Thank you Jesus! Amen

Scripture Prayer

Father, I want to thank you for loving me enough to show me when I am headed in the wrong direction. When I apply your word in my life, I will have peace, joy, hope, protection, healing and so much more.

 Your word tells me “ Loving discipline is knowledge.” For the moment, discipline seems unpleasant, but it yields peaceful fruit of righteousness as I accept your training.

Your word is breathed through your Holy Spirit and you have made it profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training. You discipline me when I am wrong because you love me so much.

 You have given me a spirit of power, love, and sound mind (self-control), we need never fear. Your word is living, active and sharper than any two-edged sword and it will pierce my heart and  soul and joints. Your word also discerns the thoughts and intentions of my heart.

 Because I respect you, your word fills me with knowledge, so when you speak to me, help me have listening ears and a  receptive heart. Your word gives wise instructions and keeps me on the right path! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Father for your Word! Amen

How do we deal with critisim??

Taking Critism is hard! 

Weather it be constructive or other wise outright mean and vengeful.

I am learning, that being able to own up to actually "being wrong" can give me an oppourtunity  for spiritual growth.  I hope this jpeg flyer will help you think of a

Habakkuk 1&2

I received this verse today and  I made it personal to me...... I have never read Habakkuk before. You never know why God leads you to read something;  when you get there, then you oftentimes (like today for me) realize He had a word waiting for you: just for you - just for today!.. Thats how God works. He is awesome!

1 I will stand at my watch –and there I will WAIT;  I will look to see what he will say to me,

2 Then the LORD replied:  “Write down the vision-and make it plain on tablets(my - bfc- paintings and PowerPoint Lessons)  so that a runner (me - bfc) may run with it.-3 For the VISION awaits an appointed time; -it speaks of the end  and will not prove false. Though it seems to be slow, WAIT for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. Habakkuk 2:1-3

Women Learning Together HOW TO Understand the Bible - Book of Acts

On January 20, 2022 our women's learning sessions (zoom) will begin a new study in the book of Acts.

Awesome book! We will also  have a video guest speaker each week.

We use a Power Point in all our zoom sessions and  all study materials are posted for your viewing or printing  on the  Menu: The Book of Acts

The PDF you will see  ON ACTS MENU LINK, is the completed PDF for Chapters 1-10 only. We will be  doing our learning sessions for 13 weeks - Normally we only go 10 sessions, but since Acts is such a long book, we have extended these sessions. 

Everyone is welcome to join us at anytime in the 13 weeks. Again... we are a small group of women learning HOW TO UNDERSTAND the bible and form lasting friendships.
